Ils permettent des filtrations plus fines que les grilles filtrantes rotatives (jusqu’a 36 microns).
Pour les mailles de filtrations fines, la filtration s’effectue de l’intérieur vers l’extérieur. Dans ce cas la goulotte de recueil de l’eau de lavage se trouve à l’intérieur.
